The Phlebotomy Technician Program teaches students the basics of phlebotomy while placing a strong emphasis on patient safety, quality assurance, universal, standard precautions, and difficulties with the law. Evacuated tube method, Syringe method, Winged infusion set, Capillary blood collection, Glucose testing, Bleeding time, Blood smear, and Urinalysis are among the techniques covered in this course. This course equips students to perform the duties of entry-level phlebotomists. A member of the healthcare team who gathers and processes lab specimens, instructs patients on specimen collection techniques, and conducts waived laboratory tests is a phlebotomist. Additionally, information processing, training, and quality control monitoring may fall under the purview of phlebotomists. Most phlebotomists are employed by hospital or clinic labs, blood banks, nursing homes, insurance firms, academic institutions, or public health organizations.

Hands of Angels Healthcare Institute will prepare you for the next step in your career. Our Online Phlebotomy Technician training program is designed to train our students how to safely draw blood, label and maintain specimens.

Our Online Phlebotomy Technician program will consist of three weeks totaling 60 hours of training. The training is broken down into online theory and clinical hours where the student will learn how to draw blood effectively to become a Nationally Certified Phlebotomist and be eligible to work anywhere in the USA.
